Bridges and Walls

Based on old ports that are concentrated at the edge of the waterfront, this painting depicts so much of the kinetic activity of the ships, wharfs, bridges, and trucking. At the same time, many of these port cities are idling rail and adding walls with sliding gates as they continue into the future.
