Contemplating Nature

This little assemblage began with the by-product of an eco-printing session and a fragment of printed paper that was used initially as a barrier between two other papers I was printing. Its rich hues and textures inspired me to work into it with stitching, beading, and eventually adding natural and found materials from my collection, into a fantasy nature scene. To me, it reimagines nature, night time, and the powerful beauty we can perceive when we truly contemplate nature. I love creating a fresh "re-presentation" of nature for my viewers.
