This work is inspired from my many hikes to the American west. It is a combination of the ancient art I see on the rock walls and my interpretation of how I feel when I view the rock images. Often the paintings I create look a lot different from the original paintings on the rock walls. As an artist, I see the images filtered through my own experiences and visual inspiration. This image brings ancient forms into the present for me.
